Some “Happy Snaps” of the Port Esperance Sailing Club Rebuild
Dover’s Port Esperance Sailing Club is now rebuilt, following the
loss of its old clubhouse in an arson attack in April 2020.
Following community consultation, detailed designs were developed to provide for a
universal-access community space with clubrooms, underfloor storage for boats, a bar, commercial
standard kitchen and toilet and shower facilities.
The building has been completed by Cygnet Brand Builders with official signoff in November 2023.
We are yet to fund the commercial kitchen space so that’s on the back burner for a little while as we continue to raise the necessary funds.
