It’s been a year of challenge for everyone and the loss of our club building to fire in April 2020 has certainly added to the difficulties that our community has faced.
Plans for the rebuild are well underway and we’ll keep you posted as this progresses.
In the meantime, the lack of a building has not deterred our Sailing community and you’ll see plenty of activity on and off the water!
A big thankyou to Cristian Mendoza from Riverflow Web Design for his generosity in creating a new website to herald the new beginnings for the Port Esperance Sailing Club. We’ll use this space to keep you updated on PESC happenings and we welcome you all to get involved with the club and its activities!
We’ve kicked off Social Sailing Fridays- join us from 4pm Fridays for casual off the beach sailing and a social drink (BYO) /get together on the grass near the PESC club house site.
Junior Sailing has also begun strongly, with around 20 youngsters committed to a 7 week training course and filling the bay with brightly coloured optimist dinghies each Sunday morning.
